The UCCP CHURCH UGALINGAN
UCCP Ugalingan was founded by AGATONA SAGARAL PUZON and other local church members in October 1944. At that time there was no church was made. They did the worship at Agatona's house temporarily. Even though there is no church where they can worship, it is not a hindrance to what they aim for. To serve and worship our Almighty God the creator.
The early members of the local church are as follows:
Victorio Astrologo, Pedro Puzon, Fernando Catacutan, Semion Tugahan, Felicidad Librando, Placido Arendain, Santos Mantos, Mandie Sagaral Longao, Antonio Librando.
As the years passed, the holy spirit blessed them. They made a wooden church in 1980. After 10 years, they built the concrete church with the help of the late Engineer Eliazar Pilapil as the building engineer and his father Ladislao Pilapil, and other members as the church carpenters.
In 2023 they celebrated their 79th founding anniversary and counting.
May Our Almighty God bless this generation of believers with a long life!
